We’ve heard our fair share of stories about crazed fans, but this is downright scary.

An 31-year-old woman obsessed with Hongkong star Charlene Choi was reportedly so upset that her idol refused to acknowledge a Facebook fan account that she threatened to burn Charlene's house down.

The unnamed woman added that she would “damage the wooden board at 6 Beacon Hill Road” if Charlene continued to ignore her. The address is believed to be where Charlene lives with her billionaire 'Mahjong Prince' boyfriend Anthony Shi.

When Charlene didn’t give the fan the attention she wanted, the latter decided to make good on her threat.

On February 24 2020, she went to the star’s home and damaged a board outside the house.

For her actions, the fan was charged in court with one count of criminal damage and two counts of criminal intimidation.

While Charlene and Anthony didn’t appear in court during the proceedings, Anthony’s sister testified that she had seen the accused hanging around outside the house almost every day.

In addition, the fan posted on social media detailing the times the star left and returned home every day, along with her car model and license plate number.

Charlene has remained silent on the case, with her company stating that “the issue is being dealt with in the courts and is not suitable for [Charlene] to make a comment”.
