Hongkong actress Charmaine Sheh’s one busy bee. The 45-year-old recently revealed that she’s so busy with work, she’s clocking 18-hour work days on the regular. But she’s not complaining at all.

On the contrary, she’s “very happy” to be constantly working, though that also means she's so busy, her love life’s been left on the back burner.

Even as most of Charmaine’s celeb friends, like Hongkong actresses Annie Man, Janet Chow, Margaret Chung, Sherming Yiu and Angela Tong, are now mothers and wives, Charmaine has not wavered in her resolve to stay unmarried till she meets the right one.

“I'll just leave it up to fate. After all, I want a partner with an interesting soul,” she says, adding: “I’ve never fretted over [whether I've missed my chance to settle down]. If it didn’t work out, it’s definitely ‘cos they weren’t the best fit for me.”

But of course, that doesn’t mean that Charmaine has given up on love entirely. The actress reveals that she was once invited to appear on a reality matchmaking show, but she turned down the offer.

“A large portion of my life has already been presented to the audience, so when it comes to relationships, I hope to be able to leave a little bit of space for myself [to date in private],” Charmaine says.

She went on to share that she hopes to be able to find love and tie the knot one day.

Charmaine is currently single, and had previously said that one of her previous relationships ended because her ex had complained that she was too engrossed in her work.
