Did Lee Min Ho Accidentally Reveal A Massive Spoiler For The King: Eternal Monarch?

Oops?

K-drama fans are losing their minds over what potentially might just be a spoiler to the ending of Netflix's The King: Eternal Monarch, courtesy of Korean heartthrob (and the star of the show) Lee Min Ho.

If you're a fan of The King and don’t want any spoilers, we suggest that you stop reading right now.

Don’t say we didn't warn you...

Okay, first things first. The King: Eternal Monarch, which is Min Ho's first project since completing his military service, is a fantasy romance drama about two parallel universes — The Kingdom of Corea and the Republic of Korea.

Min Ho plays Emperor Lee Gon of the Kingdom of Corea (KoC), who time-travels into the parallel world of the Republic of Korea (RoK). In RoK, he encounters feisty police inspector Jung Tae Eul (played by Goblin’s Kim Go Eun) and romance ensues… Or at least that’s what we’ve been shown so far.

As the show is still airing, the cast has been very careful about what they post on social media. However, netizens think that Min Ho oppa might have just dropped the biggest spoiler yet.

Last night (June 2), the 32-year-old heartthrob took to Instagram to post a series blurry behind-the-scenes photos of himself running down the aisle of a hall. His caption? A cryptic ?? .

What caught the attention of eagle-eyed netizens were the neatly-arranged white chairs embellished with gold ribbons in the background, which many believe hints at a possible union between KoC’s King Lee Gon and RoK’s Tae Eul.

“Are those… Wedding chairs?” questioned a follower, while another commented: “I really hope that there will be a happy ending! We need it!”

In another pic, fans noticed what they believe is throne fit for a royal wedding peeking behind Min Ho.

Unsurprisingly, Min Ho did not reply to the comments but with only three episodes left, we’ll just have to watch to find out.
