Cecilia 'Cissy' Wang, the wife of Hongkong action star Donnie Yen, is giving fans a glimpse into her 39th birthday celebrations this year.

On Wednesday (Apr 22), the former model rang in her special day by posting a series of pics on Instagram showing off her the presents she received and thanking everyone for their well wishes.

“Thank you everyone for your wonderful birthday wishes through IG, Facebook, texts [and] e-mails! I’m truly, truly blessed. Many cakes and flower deliveries this year. My birthday wish is for everyone to be healthy and safe!” Cissy wrote.

Cecilia appeared to have held several mini birthday parties (wait, what happened to those warnings about social gatherings during COVID-19) with Donnie, their kids, 16-year-old Jasmine and 13-year-old James, as well as other close friends including Hongkong actresses Rosamund Kwan and Niki Chow.

Looking at her IG post, it's possible that Cissy had about 10 birthday cakes this year, including one from the Ip Man star.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful gorgeous wife! [I] wish [that you’ll be] happy forever!” Donnie, 56, wrote on IG on April 21, which is Cissy's actual birthday.

But what piqued the interest of netizens wasn't how many cakes or flowers Cissy received, but rather her teenage daughter, who they say has become a stunner just like her mum.

“Her daughter has inherited her mum’s good genes!” praised a netizen, adding that Jasmine’s eyes are as “wide and clear” as Cecilia’s.

There were also those who felt that James now looks a whole lot like Donnie.

Wait, who do netizens think their kids are supposed to look like?
