It looks like you won’t find 39-year-old Singapore-based Chinese actor Hu Wen Sui, who took part in Star Search 2001, on Team Kris Wu. (Actually, is anyone still on that team?)

On Wednesday (Jul 21), Wen Sui, whose English name is James, took to Instagram to pen an angry rant against the Chinese-Canadian pop idol, asking the latter to “get out of China”.

For those who missed it, Kris, 30, was recently accused of being a sexual predator by Chinese influencer Du Meizhu. The shocking claims against him include having sex with minors, getting girls drunk before assaulting them, and then trying to buy Meizhu’s silence with millions of dollars.

Kris and his agency have both since denied the allegations, but that didn’t stop brands and the public from turning against him, and the former EXO member was dropped from multiple brands like a scandal-plagued hot potato.

1 of 2 Kris’ reputation is in complete shambles right now

Anyway, back to Wen Sui.

In his rage-filled post, the former Mediacorp actor said that he “didn’t have a good impression” of Kris the very first time he saw him, and that Kris is just like his character in Chinese movie Mr. Six, where he played an arrogant street-racing gang leader (basically, it’s not a compliment).

“Please get out of China! Go back to Canada to continue your shady business with what’s inside the crotch of your trousers,” wrote Wen Sui. “At least you can bring glory to the Chinese by proving to foreign women that we are not the ‘sick man of Asia’. Consider it making good use of waste material. Support Du Meizhu! Hammer him!”

Wen Sui later shared another post thanking 8world for their coverage of his tirade and added some more of his thoughts.

“Top stars should be role models for young people. You’ve already done such a thing and still say that others are trying to slander, frame, and blackmail you. If this was the first time, some might still believe you, but you’ve done it several times. Why do you always get caught up in such things? And it even involves underage girls,” he wrote. “How low can this scumbag go?”

It’s not known whether Wen Sui and Kris have ever crossed paths in real life, but it’s clear that the former is really pissed off for some reason.

2 of 2 It’s not every day James goes on such a passionate rant on his socials

Wen Sui was one of the Shanghai Male Winners — alongside that year’s Overall Male Champion Shi Bin — in Star Search 2001, the same year that gave us Zhang Yaodong, Sun Li, and Alan Tern.

During his time in Mediacorp, he acted in dramas like Holland V and The Vagrant as well as the Zoe Tay sitcom Katong Miss Oh.

He describes himself as a “Freelance actor & Wing Chun Instructor of Harbinger Fight Club” on his LinkedIn profile.
