Despite Taiwanese actress Shu Qi’s claim that she doesn’t have any true friends in showbiz, the 44-year-old’s friendship with fellow actress Kelly Lin appears to be pretty thick. Kelly’s IG feed is peppered with photos of get-togethers with Shu Qi, and the mother-of-two also makes it a point to wish the actress happy birthday every year.
On Sunday (Aug 2), Kelly treated her followers to photos of a star-studded double date she went on with her husband, Chinese-American businessman Chris Young, and Shu Qi and Stephen Fung.
Kelly wrote: “Lunch date with my loves. Had a great time with my husband and my husband’s husband.”
In case you’re wondering, Kelly calls Shu Qi “husband” while the latter refers to Kelly as “wife”, so the “husband’s husband” in this equation is, yup, Stephen.
Confused? You’re not the only one.
While some netizens were tickled by the caption, others were left scratching their heads.
One fan wrote: “So many husbands, while another got us even more bewildered with this comment: “I am confused just thinking about it. I think wife’s husband is still the most handsome.”

Apart from lunch, the couples also paid a visit to renowned Taiwanese fashion photographer Joshua Lin’s solo exhibition. Titled “Flux of Shadows”, it is the first public showcase of Joshua’s series of black and white nude photography.
Shu Qi took to Instagram to share some of the photos, writing: “Illusion and truth, art and beauty.”
