Fish Leong Sees Fortunes Rise After Divorce; Said To Rake In An Estimated $11mil This Year
Her career is going places.
Fish Leong has hit the reset button after divorcing her Taiwanese wine merchant hubby Tony Chao last year.
The couple’s high-profile split after nine years of marriage dominated headlines last September and everyone's been very concerned about Fish's wellbeing. While she's slowly getting back into the groove of being single again, her career, on the other hand, is fast gaining steam.
It's good news for the Malaysian singer who was said to have let her career take a backseat because she wanted to focus on family life after getting married and giving birth to her now five-year-old son, Anderson.
Last week (Jan 7), Fish was spotted shopping at Taipei’s Sogo for two hours before popping into a convenience store. It was reported that the singer was on the phone the whole time. She then hopped into a cab and headed for home.
On the contrary, her ex-hubby Tony had been spotted out and about with socialite Lin Yijie before their divorce was finalised. He was also seen driving the socialite around in the car that was reportedly a gift from Fish.
But 42-year-old singer is doing very well too, thank you very much. It's been reported that Fish is set to hold a 37-date concert tour around China, which kicks off in Shanghai on Valentine's Day, and that Fish is set to earn an estimated NT250mil (S$11mil) from it.
