Francis Ng’s 12-Year-Old Son Tried And Failed To Slide Into Jay Chou’s Instagram DMs
Maybe it's time to use his dad's connections?
Hongkong actor Francis Ng is one of the most respected actors in showbiz, but his son, Feynman Ng, has proved that having a famous dad doesn’t mean that you’re immune to getting star-struck.
The 12-year-old made headlines earlier this year after graduating from the Singapore International School in Hongkong with the media speculating that he would be furthering his studies in Singapore. This time around, he’s made the news for a whole different reason — posting his failed attempt to slide into Jay Chou’s Instagram DMs.
You see, Feynman, like so many people out there, really loves the Mandopop King and thought that he would try to contact Jay to tell him how much he enjoys his music. He uploaded the whole process on his personal Weibo account on October 20, and soon became one of Weibo's trending topics.
“Will I succeed?” Feynman captioned the post, which also included a screenshot of his IG DM to Jay. “I’d be really happy if you replied this Secondary Two student, he wrote.
His next post was a screenshot of the error message he got in response. “@jaychou is unable to receive your message. He has disallowed strangers from sending him private messages.” A heartbroken Feynman then wrote, “I’m crying , much to the delight of netizens who found the entire incident hilarious.
One netizen then suggested: “Your dad is famous too! Ask your dad to contact him!” which really isn't that bad an idea. It was the common consensus among other netizens, with one saying that they would get him to the top of Weibo's trending topics and let Jay notice you!”
While Jay hasn’t responded to the poor boy at press time, we’re sure he’ll catch wind of the news soon and have an epic response.
