Grace Chow And Gillian Chung Had A Girls’ Night Out At The Karaoke After Their Respective Break-Ups
Maybe Show Luo and Michael Lai should have a boys' night out too.
Now we would have loved to be a fly on the wall during this unexpected hangout sesh. Months after their respective splits hogged headlines, Hongkong star Gillian Chung and Chinese influencer Grace Chow surprised everyone by meeting up on August 8.
Grace, 31, had posted a snap on Weibo of Gillian, 39, hugging her from behind in a KTV room. “Did you miss me a lot? I've missed you, wrote Grace. Not many people expected the two newly-single ladies to be so close (we didn't even know they were friends) and many netizens couldn't help but wonder what they talked about throughout the night and if they sang songs about heartbreak.
According to reports, the two girls are very close friends (like for real). They’d wear often matching outfits, get their nails done together, and even have similar online usernames. When Grace and Show Luo were dating, he’d often send clothes as gifts to Gillian. And when Gillian got hitched to Michael, she introduced him to Grace.
In case you have been living under a rock and is unaware of what's been going on in their personal lives, here’s a brief recap:
In April, Grace called off her nine-year relationship with Show Luo, accusing him of cheating and exposing his, um, extra-curricular activities.
A month later, Gillian’s husband, Taiwanese-American cosmetologist Michael Lai, revealed in an interview that they've filed for divorce after less than two years of marriage.
With no SO in their lives now, guess Grace and Gillian could finally schedule a girls' night out. Now, what would Show and Michael say about this? Maybe the two of them should do a boys' night out too?
