Grace Chow Shares Pic With "Husband" 4 Months After Show Luo Split; Netizens Say They Make A Good Pair
They’re even wearing matching T-shirts.
Chinese blogger Grace Chow has found someone else to call “husband”, a pet name previously reserved for her cheating, “multiplayer sports” enthusiast ex-boyfriend Show Luo before their dramatic split, which she confirmed back in April following a period of wild speculations.
However, it’s not exactly what you might be thinking.
Last Saturday (Aug 15), Hongkong singer-actress Gillian Chung, whose own divorce from Taiwanese doctor Michael Lai hogged headlines not long after Grace and Show’s breakup, uploaded two photos of herself with Grace on Weibo, which the latter reposted with a caption saying: “I think my husband’s new short hairstyle is really good. I brought her for the haircut!”
The internet was alerted to the two newly single ladies’ unexpected friendship when the latter shared a post from their KTV sesh earlier this month, and now, it looks like their relationship has progressed to the point where they are donning matching T-shirts from Grace’s clothing brand. It’s pretty cute, actually.
Netizens, for one, certainly seem to approve of the double-GC pairing, saying that they are a good match for each other and quipping that “it would be a shame” if they didn’t actually get together. A few even took things a step further by bringing up the Civil Affairs Bureau, where couples go to register their marriage in China.
And then there are those who either didn’t get the memo or are in serious denial, judging by their comments insisting that Show is still her ‘husband’. Um, haven’t we been through this already?
As for the state of Grace’s actual love life, the 31-year-old admitted in a recent interview that while she’s gotten to know some new friends of the opposite sex, they all ended up as her “bros”.
“I feel that after I broke up [with Show], many men are afraid to pursue me,” she mused. “But it’s not a big problem. I don’t think women need to rush to find a partner. Work on making yourself stronger and better first. Mr Right will come to you one day.”
