The preliminary rounds for the Miss Hong Kong 2021 pageant are in full swing and the beauty queen hopefuls have become the talk of the town. Among this year's candidates is Hongkong actor Eddie Kwan’s 26-year-old daughter Fabienne, whom many believe is a strong contender for the crown.

Fabienne, who majored in education in the UK, has long been dubbed as one of the prettiest celeb kids.

For years, she's been asked if she would ever consider participating in the pageant and Eddie would answer on her behalf, saying that his daughter “showed no interest” in the competition, adding that he would prefer she focus on her studies.

There was also talk that Fabienne would enter showbiz after gradutating from university in 2016, but she stayed under the radar… until now.

Although the list of Miss Hong Kong 2021 delegates who will move on to the next round have yet to be confirmed, many believe that Fabienne is “a shoo-in because she outshines the competition”.

While not much is known about what Fabienne got up to between her graduation and now, reports say that she recently set up a vegan bakery that specialises in cinnamon rolls.

However, judging from all that hype about her on the internet, we won't be surprised if she pursues a career in showbiz like so many former Miss Hong Kong contestants.
