Jay Chou Celebrated His 42nd Birthday By Going Glamping With His Friends

Last August, Jay Chou threw two retro-themed parties for his wife Hannah Quinlivan’s 27th birthday. In return, she organised a glamping party for his 42nd birthday on January 18.

“Spent my birthday in nature surrounded by dear friends and family,” Jay gushed on IG. “My only birthday wish is that everyone stays healthy and happy as always.”

There were at least 18 people spotted in the photo, and in the background were five spacious tents. There was also a small playground (for the kiddies, we presume?) at the site, which was brightly lit with fairy lights and lamps.

Hannah also posted snaps from the outing, one of which showed her and Jay posing in front of a waterfall together. “Who needs superheroes when you have a super husband? Happy Birthday, my superman!” she wrote.

Her photos also reignited the debate about Jay's weight. Last week, Jay and Hannah graced the premiere of his new racing film Nezha, and the singer Jay was photographed looking fluffier than netizens remember.

In Hannah’s snaps, however, Jay looked slimmer than he did at his movie's premiere, leading some netizens to suggest that either a) Jay was suffering from water retention when he went for the event, or b) Hannah had Photoshopped the photos from the birthday party.
