Leon Lai’s 2-Year-Old Daughter Looks Just Like The Heavenly King... Or So Netizens Say
She’s a chip off the old block.
Of all the four Heavenly Kings, Leon Lai’s probably the most private about his family. For starters, the 53-year-old has never revealed the name of his two-year-old daughter. In fact, the singer-actor has only ever shared one photo of his daughter, where he described the then four-month-old as “chubby”.
Since the birth of his baby girl in 2018, Leon has cut back on work considerably, spending more time at home with his ex-assistant-turned-girlfriend, Wing Chan, and their bundle of joy.
Apart from being spotted out and about shopping for baby essentials, Leon reportedly tweaked his sleeping schedule to better fit his daughter’s habits. The dedicated dad once shared that he makes sure to be home by 10.30pm every night so he can lull his baby girl to sleep.
The family-of-three is currently living in a mansion located at the super-posh St Andrew’s Place residential development. The mansion, which Leon bought for HK$40mil (S$8.6mil) in 2007, is said to measure 600 sq metres and comes with loads of space for his daughter to run about and play.
Apart from that, Leon also purchased a brand-new car for Wing and their daughter to travel about in style. For vacations, the family-of-three can choose to spend it in utmost privacy on their private yacht, which has five bedrooms and four bathrooms.
And that’s not all. Leon has also set aside a whopping S$7.8mil for his daughter’s education fund.
Recently, an old video of Wing at the airport with her daughter started getting attention online.
Though the two-year-old’s face was partially blurred out of respect for Leon’s desire for privacy, netizens couldn’t help but remark that the baby girl looked just like Leon in his younger days.
“She has single eyelids, just like Leon,” one netizen wrote, while another noted that a young Leon had “the same hairstyle” as his daughter now.
