Netizens Say Coco Lee Posting Quote From Life Coach Specialising In Marriage Counselling Is Proof The Divorce Rumours Are True

Earlier last week (July 13), Hongkong pop diva Coco Lee’s emo Weibo post sparked rumours that her nine-year marriage to Canadian billionaire Bruce Rockowitz might be in trouble. To make matters worse, Coco’s sister was suspiciously vague when asked about the 45-year-old’s relationship. Media outlets have also started claiming that Bruce is cheating on Coco with a mistress.

On July 18, however, Coco made a post on her socials, seemingly to dismiss these pesky rumours. “[I’m] still being loved, and in love,” she wrote.

But, it seems like her post wasn’t quite enough to deter netizens from speculating on her relationship.

A few days later, a netizen shared that Coco’s July 13 post, which included a picture of an inspirational quote, was actually from a life coach’s website. The website reportedly offers counselling for those who are facing a failed marriage or relationship, which lends even more credibility to those who are claiming that Coco's marriage is in trouble.

Additionally, Coco, who used to sing the praises of her husband, has not posted a picture together with him in months. In May this year, Coco also chopped off her long locks, opting for a short pixie cut instead. Her post revealing her new hairdo included emo quotes like “[It] feels like a type of liberation”, as well as “In this lifetime, the only person who’ll stay by your side forever is yourself, so if you don’t love yourself, who else can you love?

According to reports, Coco’s close friend shared with the media that the couple rarely spends time together as Coco’s usually busy travelling.

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bruce and Coco have been spending more time together at home. But instead of bringing them closer together, it appears that the extra couple time has caused quite a fair bit of conflict.
