Back when Taiwanese singer-actor Show Luo’s cheating scandal was blowing up online, netizens were all over this old episode of now-defunct talk show Here Comes Kangxi. The episode featured Taiwanese star Linda Chien, aka one of the many third parties Show’s ex-girlfriend, Grace Chow, mentioned in her exposé.

The show's hosts Dee Hsu and Kevin Tsai had questioned Linda about her “sibling-like” relationship with Show. Dee then went on to say that Linda seemed to be faking a smile, and that even “industry insiders” were suspicious of Linda and Show’s relationship.

Now, netizens have zeroed in on yet another episode of Here Comes Kangxi. This time round, it was Show’s turn to face Dee. While talking about his relationship with Grace, Show mentioned: “I’ve already entered the second stage of my life.”

Show’s declaration surprised Kevin, who commented: “[Show’s] actually using his girlfriend to differentiate the different stages of his life.” Jumping in, Dee then asked: “So does this mean that this second stage [of Show’s life] will start and end with Grace?”

With Show's cheating scandal dealing a huge blow to his wallet and reputation, some netizens couldn’t help but claim that Dee had “predicted that the end of Show’s career would be brought about by Grace”.

To add weight to their claims, these netizens also brought up an episode of Hua Hua Wan Wu, the latest talkshow hosted by Dee and Kevin. That particular ep featured Hongkong singer-actress Gillian Chung and her doctor husband, Michael Lai, who had announced their divorce last week.

During their time on the show, Dee commented that Gillian “didn't seem to love” Michael, saying: “I'll see how long the two of you can last.”

Adding to the list of couples that the 41-year-old host predicted would split up are Taiwanese actress Kelly Huang and Taiwanese basketball player Ho Shou Cheng. Dee was also said to have asked Hongkong actor Edison Chen if he “would ever send his own nudes to girls online” way before his 2008 sex photos scandal.

Directors aren’t safe from Dee's prophecies either. Netizens claim that the host managed to predict Taiwanese directors Doze Niu’s sexual assault conviction and Giddens Ko’s cheating scandal as well.

No surprises then that netizens have taken to calling her the 'Goddess of Prophecies'.

However, Dee isn’t all too fond of that moniker.

“Who wants to be showbiz's 'Goddess of Prophecies?' I was merely joking when I interviewed my guests. Who would even hope [for my jokes] to come true? I’m truly sorry about that,” she said, when a journo contacted her for a comment.

In fact, the host says she intends to change her hosting style from now on. “I think I’ll utter more positive words in the future. For example, may your marriage last forever. I won't thoughtlessly say any more inauspicious remarks! They all seem to come true!” she avered.
