Netizens Think Li Chen Has A New Girlfriend After They Spot An Extra Toothbrush And Female Beauty Products In His Bathroom

It’s been slightly more than a year since Chinese actor Li Chen and actress Fan Bingbing announced their split after four years of dating. And it looks like Li Chen might just have a new woman in his life.

The 41-year-old actor recently gave viewers of Chinese variety show Rang Sheng Huo Hao Kan (or 'Make Life Beautiful' in English) a glimpse into his Beijing mansion.

Li Chen’s home boasts a spacious and cosy interior that is filled with fitness equipment (unsurprising since the actor is a gym fanatic) and a wall that's mounted with animal heads, we mean stuffed toy animal heads, which if you think about, is almost as macabre as having real dead animal heads.

But what got everyone really talking was when the camera followed Li Chen into his bathroom. Just as when he was brushing his teeth, netizens noticed that there was an extra toothbrush in the same cup where he had taken his toothbrush from and that his sink area was littered with vanity products used by women.

When the show’s host, Chinese actress Liu Yan, broached the subject of him living with a partner, Li Chen appeared to be taken aback by her question and nervously responded that he had lived alone for “at least 20 years”. (So we guess he and his ex-fiancée Fan Bingbing were never, um, housemates?)

After the show aired, netizens immediately came to the conclusion that Li Chen probably has a new girlfriend. Fine, maybe he likes using beauty products that are targeted at women but having two toothbrushes in your bathroom usually does suggest that you're not living alone. So could it be one of the women he's rumoured to be dating, like The Legend of the Condor Heroes star Wang Xiaochen?

For all you know, he could very well have gotten back together with Bingbing, or perhaps, he’s just someone who uses two toothbrushes at the same time.
