Chinese actress Fan Bingbing has weathered many storms in the past couple of years. From her high-profile tax evasion scandal to her break-up with fiancé Li Chen, the 38-year-old has slowly but surely managed to shake off all that negative press.

But her haters keep coming back with more. Apart from criticising her appearance and mocking her attempts to earn money through livestream auctions, they are now accusing her of being pregnant… again.

Yesterday (Dec 4), Bingbing was seen at the Beijing airport waiting to catch a flight to Los Angeles, where she was slated to do some post-production work on her upcoming Hollywood movie 355.

Sadly, the star was wearing a top that did her body no favours because of the way it emphasised her belly. Fans who were there to send Bingbing off were apparently surprised to see her protruding tummy and netizens who saw the pics immediately concluded that the star is pregnant.

But there were also some netizens who believed that 'Fan Bingbing's Belly', which is now a trending topic on Weibo, is a result of the star's hearty appetite. “She probably had too much hotpot and meat… Anyway, she hasn’t been slim for a while so just forget it,” commented one netizen.

It's understandable why some netizens aren’t buying the rumour.

In July, just two days after Bingbing and Li Chen announced their break-up, there was speculation that she was pregnant after a netizen posted CCTV footage of a masked woman resembling Bingbing wearing a billowy dress and looking all kinds of preggers. But that rumour was quickly shot down by the actress.

So is it going to be another case of netizens who cried pregnant wolf again this time? Scroll down and judge for yourself.
