Move over, Jackson Lai (who was last in the news for allegedly cheating on his pregnant wife with his co-star), there’s a new Louis Koo lookalike in town.

And it’s veteran Hongkong actor, Wayne Lai.

1 of 4 Wait, what?

56-year-old Wayne recently attended the lensing ceremony of his new drama Fighting, where he plays a MMA fighter, and we have to say, he really, really, looks different now. According to reports, the actor had to go on a diet to fit his role.

And the result? Well, he lost 10 kilos in two months, and is apparently quite the muscleman now.

This is not the first time Wayne’s had to diet for a new role though. Previously, the actor lost a significant amount of weight for his role in the TVB drama Death By Zero, which premiered earlier this year. What’s different this time though, is that Wayne’s put on quite a bit of muscle mass as well.

When asked about his new physique, Wayne self-deprecatingly said that he “isn’t as muscular” as his co-stars, Hongkong actors Owen Cheung and Shaun Tam.

“Don't expect too much from me,” he laughed.

But on to the actual story: People are saying that Wayne kinda resembles Louis Koo now, with his tanned complexion and slicked-back hair.

Still not convinced? We’ll let the pictures do the talking then.
