Zhang Ziyi’s Daughter Is Only 5 And She Already Has A Crush On Wang Leehom

Well, at least she has good taste.

Well, at least she has good taste.

Zhang Ziyi’s five-year-old daughter is growing up too fast. While other kids her age are still obsessed with Frozen and curious about bugs and nature, the Chinese actress’ daughter Xing Xing is already ogling at boys. Or rather hunkles.

On June 2, the mother-of-two took to Weibo to share her mummy woes, lamenting that her idol-chasing daughter didn’t seem too interested in the activities she had put together for her on Children’s Day, which falls on June 1 in China, and that the kid only has eyes for singer Wang Leehom.

1 of 3 Wonder if Leehom's ripped bod had anything to do with it

“My dear Leehom, do you know that Xing Xing’s dad and I went to so much trouble planning all sorts of activities for her this Children’s Day but she said this photo of you is the best gift to her. We wanted to vomit blood! Do you understand how I feel?” wrote the 41-year-old, ending her caption with crying facepalm emojis and the hashtag #thepowerofanidol. She also shared a photo of Xing Xing’s back, and on it was a black and white snap of Leehom in nothing but a pair of jeans and boxing gloves.

Her hubby, Chinese rocker Wang Feng, commented on the post, writing: “As her dad, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.”

2 of 3 Could Xing Xing be Leehom's youngest fan?

When Leehom, who is a good friend of the couple, saw the post, the father-of three jokingly apologised: “Sorry, my bad. (Quickly kneels down to wipe the blood), before adding: “Xing Xing, I saw the cute and heartwarming photos your dad and mum shared of your Children’s Day celebration. Your parents’ love for you should be the most precious gift. That gift is a blessing.”

What tickled fans, though, was not so much Ziyi’s predicament, but Xing Xing’s taste in guys.

“So she has a thing for hunky guys,” commented one netizen.

“Is there anyone who’s not a fan of Leehom?” wrote another.
