Harry Styles Was Once A Dog-Sitter For The Crown's Emma Corrin

Harry Styles once dog sat for Emma Corrin so she could head out for dinner.

The 24-year-old actress left her pooch Spencer with the former One Direction singer when she had a business meeting, but thinks the 'Golden' hitmaker was put off looking after her pet again in the future because of the animal's flatulence.

Emma struck up a friendship with Harry earlier in 2020; the two share the same stylist.

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she said: He once dog sat for me. I love that my dog had no idea, which is wonderful. For a dog, it's just a person...

I was having dinner near where he lives and he looked after Spencer for me. But he hasn’t done it again…

I think it’s because halfway through the meal, I got a message that just said ‘He won’t stop farting. Is this normal?’ ”

Meanwhile, The Crown star — who plays the young Princess Diana in the new season of the Netflix period drama — recently admitted she doesn't want a boyfriend because she'd rather take care of herself when it comes to life in the spotlight.

She said: “I’d rather navigate this on my own. It’s nicer to feel like I’m taking care of me.”

Emma shares a flat with four friends from university and admitted they have been a great source of support and perspective as things change for her.

She added: “It’s nice to come back to people who really know you. It helps to balance out some of the silliness that comes with this job, like having your face on the cover of a magazine.

“It’s great to have people taking the p*** out of you, which they do —constantly. It keeps me grounded.”

The actress plans to put firm boundaries in place for herself so that she isn’t taken advantage of.

She explained: “It’s a lot of new experiences in a short amount of time. You have to be very good at setting boundaries for yourself, so you’re not taken advantage of.”
