How do you elevate a day out at the beach? Book a daybed at beach clubs on Sentosa? Go kayaking or take a dip in the water? Have a relaxing dinner against the backdrop of a glorious sunset? How about all of the above?

Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa has just rolled out a promotion, not to entice folks to stay at its hotel (it’s currently serving as a stay-home facility). Instead, the only beachfront resort in Singapore has a new Rasa Sentosa Sunset in Paradise package that lets you wind down from afternoon to sundown by the beach, complete with water sports, food, cocktails and great sunsets. The hotel already runs a popular daycation package for guests to unwind from morning to evening.

The Sunset in Paradise deal is only valid from 4pm on Fridays to Sundays, eve of public holidays and public holidays, while the Daycation package is available from 10am to 6pm daily. But that’s not the only difference between the two. We break it down for you.

1 of 2 The Rasa Sentosa Sunset in Paradise package

When to go: The Rasa Sunset in Paradise package is valid on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, eve of public holidays and public holidays only.

What you get: From 4pm to 6.45pm, you get beach access, sunbeds and complimentary sea sports activities such as kayaking and stand-up paddling. So kick back and enjoy your welcome cocktail/mocktail on your sunbed, or get the most out of your day trip by hopping on a kayak or a paddle board.

Need more time in the water? Take a dip in the resort’s pools from 6.45pm to 9pm. The deal also comes with a BBQ platter that you can enjoy poolside as you take in the glorious sunset. Take your pick from grilled meat, seafood or even a local-inspired platter, served with an array of sides.

How much you pay: $95++ for adults and teens (includes a BBQ platter and a cocktail for adults, or a mocktail for teens), $47.50++ for kids aged six to 11 (includes a mocktail and a BBQ platter). Children five and below get free entry with every paying adult. Includes one complimentary parking coupon.

2 of 2 Daycations at Rasa Sentosa

When to go: Available daily, 10am to 6pm.

What you get: Like the Rasa Sunset package, you get access to the pools, sunbeds, beach and sea sports activities. And free parking too, of course. Be warned, though, the daycation deal is popular and tends to get booked out.

How much you pay: $75++ for adults (includes $50 dining credits), $50++ for teens aged 13 to 17 (includes $30 dining credits), $25++ for kids aged seven to 12 (includes $15 dining credits), $10++ for children aged four to six. Kids three and below get free entry with every paying adult.

Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa is at 101 Siloso Road, Sentosa. More info about the Rasa Sunset package at visit bit.ly/rasasunset.
