Disney fans suffering from withdrawal symptoms from not being able to visit a Disneyland theme park for the past one-and-a-half years will soon get some sort of reprieve — in the form of an immersive Disney pop-up exhibition that is set to arrive in Singapore later this year, its first Southeast Asia outing ever.

‘Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration in Singapore’ will be held from Nov 19, 2021 to Mar 20, 2022. Spanning over 1,350 sqm at Suntec Convention Centre, the exhibition first made its debut at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.

There will be seven whimsical experiential rooms in this local iteration of the House of Mouse, which promises Instagrammable themed rooms bringing you photo opps galore.

There’s a giant Minnie Mouse bow sofa in, er, Mickey and Minnie’s Love room, a mystical tunnel in a room where Sorcerer Mickey resides, and even a mirror infinity room with endless Mickey Mouse ears.

But the highlight that’s unique to Singapore is probably a local thematic room, which organisers say will “celebrate Mickey in a truly Singaporean way”. More details will be released in November.

Ticket prices from $25 for adults and $20 for kids

Tickets are already available for booking now, and they’re priced at $25 for folks above 12 years old and $20 for kids aged three to 12. Bundle deals are available, including a $35 ticket that includes merchandise such as a Sorcerer Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse Ear headband, while a bundle of five tickets are sold for $98 (that’s $19.60 per ticket). More booking details here.

Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration in Singapore is on from Nov 19, 2021 to Mar 20, 2022. Open daily 11am-9pm at Suntec Convention Centre Level 3, Suntec City Tower 1. More info here.
