Legendary 80’s Band A-ha To Perform In Singapore For The First Time; Tix On Sale This Week

Why dance to ‘Take On Me’ at Mambo night when you can catch the band themselves in person soon? Iconic 80’s band, A-ha, will be coming to Singapore for the first time in their 37-year-long career on March 21 2020. This will be their only show in Southeast Asia. Early bird ticket sales begin Nov 13 and public ticket sales begin Nov 15.

The Norwegian trio — comprising Morten Harket, Magne Furuholmen and Pål Waaktaar-Savoy — scored numerous hits in their heyday in the 80’s, including evergreen faves ‘Take on Me’, ‘Crying in the Rain’ and ‘Stay on these Roads’. The tour is named after their debut album, Hunting High and Low, which was released in 1985 and launched the band to stardom. Fun fact: the music video for ‘Take On Me’ was nominated for eight MTV Video Awards in 1986, with the band winning six awards, twice as many wins as Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’.
