There’s An Indoor Go-Karting Track At Changi Airport This Festive Season; Open Until 11pm On Weekends
Because nothing screams Christmas like… go karting alongside dinosaurs.
'Tis the season for festive and fun things to do, and thrill seekers will surely be enticed by what’s touted to be Singapore’s first indoor air-conditioned go-karting track.
The Dino Kart go-karting track has been set up at Changi Airport Terminal 4’s Departure Hall (at check-in row 4, to be exact), and will be here until Jan 2, 2022. It's open daily — Mon-Wed at 2-10pm; and Thu-Sun at 2pm-11pm.
The dino-themed track is decked out with disco lights and dinosaurs. While the electric karts aren’t fashioned like these prehistoric creatures, it's still a novelty to zip through the airport — and in between check-in rows and neon-lit dino standees — on a go-kart, we reckon.

There are two circuits to try — a pro circuit for those aged 13 and over, and a novice circuit for those nine years old and above (minimum 1.1m in height). Ticket prices start at $15 for the novice circuit and $18 for the pro circuit. There are, however, discounted rates when you spend a minimum of $25 at Changi Airport or Jewel (redeemable for up to four tickets in a single receipt). More info here.
There are other activities happening at T4 as well, all part of Changi Airport's year-end festivities. Besides the indoor karting track, there’s also the Dino Carnival at T4 if you’re in the mood for games and snacks like dino-shaped curry puffs and footlong hotdogs. Elsewhere in the terminal is a dino bouncy castle (admission fees from $8) that the kids would enjoy. Just don’t take them there after that footlong hotdog.
If you fancy spending even more time at T4, there are glamping tents at the transit area available to book from Dec 3 to Jan 2, 2022.
