You Get A Mini Freezer Full Of Ice Cream At Ice Cream-Themed Staycations At Shangri-La Singapore & Rasa Sentosa

So you’ve had your fill of over-the-top ice cream-themed photo opportunities at the newly opened Museum of Ice Cream (read our review here) and are ready for more. If you’re looking for a sweet, decadent escape where calories don’t count for your next staycation, savour this piece of news: There are now ice cream-themed staycations at Shangri-La hotels in Singapore where you not only get a mini freezer full of Häagen-Dazs ice cream, but also a bunch of cool merch and even vouchers so you can have more ice cream even after your stay.

Shangri-La’s latest ice cream-themed staycations at both Shangri-La Singapore and Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa are proof that there’s always room for dessert. Prices differ across both hotels — the Sentosa escapade is priced about $100 higher (its rooms come with a sea view, after all). But it doesn’t mean that Shangri-La Singapore’s staycay is to be ignored either, with its convenient location that’s a hop and a skip away from town.

Location and room views aside, the perks you get with each hotel are largely the same with one main difference: there are different specially curated dessert platters for each outpost, each just as MasterChef-worthy as the other.

How much: From $599 nett for 2D1N and from $1,088 nett for 3D2N
What it includes:
#1: Cool beachside digs — you get to enjoy a stay in a deluxe sea view room with breakfast for two.

#2: A lot of ice cream to eat. The specially curated Häagen-Dazs dessert available at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa is a coffee, Belgian chocolate, caramel biscuit and cream, vanilla ice cream in a ruby chocolate sphere with raspberry ganache (pictured below) that you can enjoy at Siloso Beach Bar. Besides that, you also get a mini freezer full of Häagen-Dazs ice cream (two pints, two sticks and six mini cups).

#3: Häagen-Dazs collectibles: cushion, bear plushie, $20 Häagen-Dazs shop voucher, bath bomb, cooler bag, picnic mat and a mask.

What it includes:
#1: A stay at the Garden Wing Deluxe Room for two, breakfast for two at The Line, 10 per cent of a la carte buffet dinner at The Line and complimentary parking.

#2: Ice cream, ice cream and more ice cream. The specially curated Häagen-Dazs dessert available here is a salted caramel ice cream and banana butter cake club sandwich with pineapple compote. You’ll also get the same mini-freezer full of Häagen-Dazs ice cream that includes two pints, two sticks and six mini cups (pictured below).
