Highlights include nostalgic-waxing skits featuring the likes of Hong Huifang, Carrie Wong, Rebecca Lim, Elvin Ng, and Chua Enlai; a medley of CNY songs performed by Desmond Tan, Chantelle Ng, Tasha Low, and Kiki Lim; and live reports from Chinatown by Cavin Soh and YES 933 DJ Hazelle Teo. Top Gun: Maverick
Three decades in the making, the follow-up to Top Gun has no business being this good but it is. The sequel (and veiled commentary on Cruise’s own career) — sees the eponymous aviator prepping a squad of hot shots — including his late co-pilot’s son (Miles Teller) — for an impossible mission. Not sure if the big-screen razzamatazz will play just as well on your telly, though. Oh well, just crank up the volume!
