Stuff To Watch This Week (June 5-11, 2023)

Here's some good news for Blackpink fans...

The Idol

R&B phenom The Weeknd (nee Abel Tesfaye) teams up with Euphoria creator Sam Levinson for this sordid showbiz cautionary tale that scandalised Cannes Film Festival (where it was the first TV show to launch there). Lily-Rose Depp plays Jocelyn, a pop star who loses her shit after a family tragedy. But her parasitic management needs her back in the studio recording ASAP. Enter The Weeknd’s cult leader to get Jocelyn back on her feet. Or does he? The five-part drama also stars Hank Azaria, Eli Roth, and Blackpink’s Jennie.
