Sylvester Stallone's Wife Jennifer Flavin Files for Divorce After 25 Years of Marriage

Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin are divorcing after 25 years of marriage. 

Flavin filed a petition "for dissolution of marriage and other relief" at a court in Florida on Friday (Aug 19).
In court documents obtained by TMZ, the 54-year-old former model accused the Rambo star, 76, of hiding assets.

The court documents read: "Upon information and belief, the Husband has engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate. Pursuant to Section 61.075, Florida Statues, equity dictates that the Wife be compensated and made whole by receiving an unequal distribution of the marital assets in her favour. Moreover, the Husband should be enjoined from, selling, transferring, assigning, encumbering, or dissipating any assets during the pendency of proceedings."

Days after Flavin's filing, Stallone made headlines for covering a large tattoo of his soon-to-be-ex-spouse's face on his arm with his onscreen Rocky dog Butkus.

Responding to the divorce filing, Stallone — who has daughters Scarlet, 20, Sistine, 24, and Sophia, 25, with his Flavin — said in a statement: "I love my family. We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues."

The Rocky actor was previously married to Sasha Czack from 1974 to 1985 and Brigitte Nielsen from 1985 to 1987. He and Czark shared sons and Sage, who died in July 2012, and Seargeoh, 43,

In a statement to People, Flavin said, "I'm sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone. While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the more than 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters."

"I ask for privacy for our family as we amicably move forward," she added. 

Flavin, who first met Stallone at a restaurant in Beverly Hills, California, in 1988, and married in May 1997.

Flavin celebrated her silver wedding anniversary on social media by posting some throwback photos of herself and her husband in a now-deleted Instagram post. She wrote: "Happy 25th wedding anniversary to us! [heart emojis] Thank you for always keeping me laughing, loving and protecting our beautiful family! (sic)"

She also claimed that their marriage was "getting better every year".

Flavin — who owns the Serious Skincare brand — wrote on the photo-sharing platform: "Our marriage keeps getting better every year! I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together! [heart emojis] (sic)"— BANG SHOWBIZ
