Kyoto’s known for its matcha and that happens to be the inspiration behind this brand new Hello Kitty room in Resi Stay The Kyoto's latest Hello Kitty room. Combining the Hello Kitty and tea themes has resulted in a vibrant, kitschy 34sqm studio which accommodates four pax and comes with a mini kitchenette and sitting area.

This room is a true-blue Hello Kitty fan's dream come true, with the Sanrio character featured in various elements of the room. Look up above the two double beds and you'll find a kimono-clad Hello Kitty features in a traditional Japanese (faux) window.

Resi Stay The Kyoto

Across the room, a giant wall mural of Hello Kitty enjoying tea and snacks. But the IG-worthy highlight in the room are the giant dango sofas and a coffee table made in the likeness of a giant cup of matcha in the sitting area, where you’ll definitely be spending a lot of time snapping photos.
