Tony Leung Ka-Fai gets “emotional” at younger daughter’s wedding to Canadian beau
Nikkie Leung, 31, wed her trader boyfriend of 10 years in a seaside wedding in Koh Samui.
There is a Chinese saying “Good things come in pairs” and this definitely holds true for Hong Kong veteran actor Tony Leung Ka-Fai, 65.
The Leung family celebrated another wedding as his younger twin daughter Nikkie, 31, married her long-time Canadian beau Tyler Toscani.
The nuptials come just seven months after older sis Chloe got hitched to her American-born Chinese husband Matthew Chan.
Nikkei took to Instagram to share the good news with everyone as well as pics from her Jan 12 wedding in Koh Samui
According to reports, the reception was held at a seaside resort.
The bride looked ethereal in a strapless gown complete with a train and dramatic veil, and the groom dapper in his grey suit.
Stunning!
One photo that got a lot of attention was a snap of the family during the Chinese tea ceremony.
In the pic, Tony appeared to be overwhelmed with emotion as the newlyweds served tea to him and his wife, former Hongkong actress Jiang Jia Nian.
Netizens left comments asking if Tony was crying, to which Nikkie replied: “Fake crying. Just kidding.”
Ever the comedian
Nikkei and Tyler have been together for 10 years.
According to Tyler’s LinkedIn profile, he is a “seasoned trader” and an assistant manager with Haitong International Securities in Hong Kong.
