Total fanboy moment: Donnie Yen gets greeted by fellow John Wick actor on bended knee in LA

Donnie is a legend no matter where he goes.

The cast of action thriller John Wick: Chapter 4 gathered at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre for the Los Angeles premiere earlier this week.

It was a celebratory yet sombre occasion as stars like Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, and Donnie Yen donned blue ribbons to pay tribute to the late Lance Reddick, who starred as concierge Charon in all four John Wick films.

Lance passed away of natural causes in his LA home on March 17 at age 60.

Amidst the glitz and glamour, the event also saw a fanboy moment from actor Mark Dacascos, who played villain Zero in the previous instalment of the movie franchise.

When Donnie, who stars as Caine, the nemesis of Keanu's John Wick, walked the black carpet, Mark suddenly went down on bended knee to greet the star.

From the pics, he looked like he was about to kowtow to the martial arts icon.

The fanboy moment didn’t end there.

Mark later shared a pic of them on Instagram, writing: “@donnieyenofficial So honoured and happy to have met you.”
