Trailer Watch: Dave Bautista Ruins Family Vacation In M Night Shyamalan’s Knock At The Cabin
Where’s the wi-fi when you need it?
Dave Bautista is going from a Guardian of the Galaxy to a Guardian of the…Apocalypse in M Night Shyamalan’s latest horror, Knock at the Cabin, which just dropped its first trailer.
In Knock at the Cabin — based on Paul G Tremblay’s 2018 novel — Jonathan Groff (Manhunt) and Ben Aldridge (Fleabag) play a gay couple whose countryside vacay with their daughter (newcomer Kristen Cui) is ruined by home invaders (Dave Bautista, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Abby Quinn and Rupert Grint).
Turns out the intruders are from some cult and they want the family to make an unthinkable decision to fulfill a higher purpose. Basically, someone needs to die. Horribly. “If you fail to choose,” says Bautista’s bespectacled leader, in an ominous whispery tone, “The world will end.” Oh, man.
And this is why we should all invest in a satellite phone (or an iPhone 14/iPhone 14 Pro, which comes with a satellite SOS feature).
Knock at the Cabin opens in Singapore cinemas on Feb 2. Watch the trailer here:
