Trailer Watch: Jamie Lee Curtis Tears Michael Myers A New One (And Then Some) In Halloween Ends
Halloween Ends is set four years after the events of Halloween Kills.
It’s the end of the road for serial killer Michael Myers in the appropriately titled Halloween Ends, the final chapter of the iconic franchise that was relaunched in 2018.
In Halloween Ends’ first trailer, series heroine Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) is gearing up for what promises to be the ultimate showdown with Myers… in the kitchen. (Holy smoke, garbage disposal alert!)
Directed by David Gordon Green (who also did the previous two instalments) and produced by Jason Blum, the threequel is set four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, with Laurie living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and working on her memoir. But when a murder occurs, it sparks off a chain of events, forcing Laurie to confront the masked bogeyman that has tormented her all her life.
Sharing the trailer on her Instagram, Curtis wrote, "Endings are a bitch!" So is this curtain call for Myers? Probably… until the franchise — that John Carpenter started in 1978 — gets rebooted again.
