This Week’s Best-Dressed Local Stars: Aug 6-13
The most stylish celeb OOTDs of the week.
It's been a week of celebrations and parties for the stars, and you bet they dressed to the nines for them. From Fann Wong and Zed's matching get-ups, to Zoe Tay and Chen Liping's red and white looks, here are the OOTDs that caught our eye.
We like big bows and we cannot lie, and it seems like Carrie does too. The actress was spotted at a Samsung event in this party-ready frock that's equal parts sweet and flirty.
Christopher looked suave and spiffy in a grey and black ensemble at the lensing ceremony of his new Taiwanese drama Q18. Love the double lapels.
When Duty Calls 2 actress Paige sported a timeless LBD at the Mediacorp drama’s meet and greet event at Gardens by the Bay. The understated design makes for a failsafe piece that’s fit for all occasions.
From the classic cut to the vibrant rouge hue, we love everything about the Louis Vuitton shift dress Zoe wore on National Day. The bow added a cute and fun touch to her look.
We did a double-take when we saw Chantalle in two high ponytails, channelling serious 90's fashion in a cropped top and baggy metallic pants. Very Baby Spice.
Pierre, who was also at the Samsung event, paired a floral print top with a striped blazer for a party-meets-preppy look.
Fann Wong and Zed Lee
Fashion is all about having fun with your outfits, and we adore these bold looks the mother and son duo sported on Zed's eighth birthday on Aug 9. These matching printed designs are from Versace.
Looks like Yingying got the memo to go bright and bold. We’re loving the bright, contrasting colours on her OOTD.
Liping may be in Melbourne, but she certainly did not forget about National Day. Not only was she dressed in national colours, she even brought a flag with her when she hit the slopes. In case you're wondering, that cool ski jacket is from the Valentino x Moncler collab.
Instead of sporting red and white, Sharon showed her love for Singapore by donning a cheery dress by homegrown label Reckless Ericka. If you look closely, you will notice that the prints are of durians.
So chio and effortlessly chic is Phyllis in this green understated look.
Putting a fresh and casual spin to the classic suit, Zetong’s salmon pink two-piece by Singapore based fashion label Arcade Men hits the sweet spot between serious and fun.
Diana looked ravishing in this asymmetric gown from Safiyaa. The crystal details on the strap and waist elevated her red carpet-worthy look.
Given the heat and humidity, we wonder how Ayden managed to look so cool in this multi-layered look from Dior.
Here's a denim tuxedo we don't mind rocking. We think Jade looks ab-solutely hawt in this bandeu swimsuit from Shein.
Oon Shu An
While most stars posted pics with the Singapore flag on National Day, Shu An stretched her creative muscle by posing with one of Singaporeans' favourite fruits — durians. Extra points for the cool retro-inspired OOTD from Tory Burch that complemented the backdrop perfectly.
