Acclaimed South Korean actor Lee Sun Kyun was laid to rest last Friday (Dec 29) but it seems the plot surrounding his death thickens.

The identity and appearance of Female A, one of the women who blackmailed and extorted money from the recently deceased actor has been revealed.

On Saturday (Dec 30), YouTube channel Caracula Crime Lab released three pictures of Female A and alleges that Female A is 28-year-old former actress and single mother Park So Jung.

The article also reveals that So Jung lives in the same building as Female B who has been identified as Kim Nam Hee.

Both women are under investigation for extorting 350 million won (S$357,000) from the late Sun Kyun.

Though Nam Hee claims not to know So Jung, Caracula Crime Lab alleges that both women first met in prison and ended up becoming neighbours in the same building after serving their respective sentences.

In another bombshell article, So Jung is said to have used a mobile application that is popular with working professionals in their 20s and 30s to carry out her scams.

After dating and having sexual relations with the men she meets, So Jung would inform them that she is pregnant, allegedly demanding money for child support.

It was revealed that So Jung did have a baby in January 2023 and had allegedly asked for alimony from not only the child’s biological father but from others she met through the app.

This went on for several months and about five men were said to have been victims.

However, one of the men managed to conduct a paternity test, which revealed that he had been lied to and he had taken So Jung to court over fraud.
