YES 933 DJ Hazelle Teo Drove Around With A Dead Bird On Her Car ’Cos She Thought It Was A “Tree Husk”

RIP lil’ birdie.

Now this is a case of mistaken identity that we hope never happens to us.

Yesterday (June 8), YES 933 DJ Hazelle Teo took to her Instagram Stories to share about her experience with a tree husk… or at least that’s what she thought it was.

Guess it does resemble a tree husk from afar…

You know it’s about to be a good story when the “journey” consists of multiple posts.

According to Hazelle, she spotted something that looked like a dead frog on the roof of her car, which was parked outdoors. In her words, she was “shooketh”.

However, upon further inspection (notice how we said further and not closer), she deduced that it was just a tree husk.

Spoiler alert: it was not tree husk.

Not forgetting to give a shout out to her facial place

Hazelle then went about her day, and we assume that her journey to Vivo City wasn’t a short one since she had to “drive all the way” there.

All this time, the “tree husk” was still on her car.

Here’s the climax of the story

According to Hazelle, she only realised that the “tree husk” was a dead bird when she finished her facial and headed back to her car.

She then revealed that her drive to Vivo City took her 20 minutes on the expressway, and she was driving at “maybe 90km/h”.

A confused Hazelle wrote: “How did it not fall off?!!!!!”

She was also understandably horrified by the sight of the dead bird on her car.

We feel you, girl

Hazelle then acted out how stressed she was as she had no idea how to remove the dead bird from her car.

“With a tree branch or maybe make some initial D turns and whatever for it to fall off?” she wrote as she brainstormed for ideas to get rid of the bird.

RIP birdie

Thankfully for Hazelle, help came in the form of two uncles, one of whom “took up the birdie with his bare hand and set it aside gently”.

Hazelle also revealed that the other uncle told her to “go buy 4D”.

The jock then concluded the story by saying how she couldn’t believe that a dead bird was on the roof of her car “for hours on end” and managed to stay on throughout her drive on the expressway.

And honestly, we have no idea too.
