(Those of you on iPads and iPhones can swipe down to the bottom of the post to view the video) Here's a couple of my observations as we gave some people around Orchard Road a brief hands-on session on Apple's iPad 2:

• Everyone loves the camera - especially the Photo Booth app - and they somehow instinctively knew how to activate it
• No one lamented about the quality of the images taken by the camera
• It was actually pretty hard to see what was on the glossy iPad display in daylight because of the glare but users didn't seem to mind - my guess is that most use it indoors anyway
• Although I personally don't think Apple's Smart Cover could be practical in protecting the iPad 2, users are fascinated at how it attaches magnetically to the iPad
• More than half think the iPad can now replace their laptop
