Punggol Breeze bags FIABCI S’pore Property Award for HDB

SINGAPORE — The Housing and Development Board (HDB) has won the FIABCI Singapore Property Award 2013 in the Master Plan Category for its project, Punggol Breeze, the third straight year that the board’s efforts in creating a better living environment for Singaporeans have been recognised by the International Real Estate Federation.

SINGAPORE — The Housing and Development Board (HDB) has won the FIABCI Singapore Property Award 2013 in the Master Plan Category for its project, Punggol Breeze, the third straight year that the board’s efforts in creating a better living environment for Singaporeans have been recognised by the International Real Estate Federation.

HDB Chief Executive Cheong Koon Hean said: “It is indeed a recognition of HDB’s efforts in providing functional and aesthetically-appealing living environments. This is aligned with HDB’s roadmap to develop well-designed, sustainable, and community-centric towns.”

With the win, Punggol Breeze will represent Singapore at the FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Awards, the pinnacle of awards in the international real estate arena, which will be presented in Luxembourg next May.

Punggol Breeze is an HDB Build-To-Order project comprising 964 four- and five-room flats in 12 blocks. Completed last December, the development is bounded by Punggol Drive and Edgefield Plains, and is served by the Oasis LRT Station, which is two stops away from Punggol MRT Station.

Other winners for the FIABCI Singapore Property Awards 2013 include The Fullerton (Sino Land) in the Heritage category; W Singapore – Sentosa Cove (City Developments) and PARKRoyal on Pickering (UOL) in the Hotel category; Changi City (Ascendas Frasers) in the Industrial category; Floridian (Far East), Jardin & Gardenvista (Far East and Yeo Hiap Seng), Aalto (Hong Leong) and Double Bay Residences (UOL and Kheng Leong) in the Residential category. They will represent Singapore in the various categories in Luxembourg next May.
