SINGAPORE — Gentle Bones will be adding a second show to his debut concert, after tickets to his first show were sold out in ten days.

The Singaporean singer-songwriter, whose real name is Joel Tan, will be holding his second show on June 11 at The Esplanade Concert Hall. He is also the first local artiste to stage two shows at the venue.

Gentle Bones was previously forced to cancel his debut concert, originally scheduled for Dec 10, 2015, after he was held in Indonesia following alleged issues with performance licenses and permits.

“There is so much in store in the near future, and my show at The Esplanade will be the first time I get to showcase them. Having sold out an entire hall on the first night, I am now given the opportunity to present both the old and the new to even more people,” Gentle Bones said in a statement to the media. “I am ecstatic and I hope this leap of faith pays off.”

Gentle Bones’ concert will also feature performances by local electronic duo .gif and singer-songwriter Linying, who will open the first and second shows respectively.

Gentle Bones’ debut concert will be held on June 10 and 11 at The Esplanade Concert Hall. Tickets to the second show are priced from S$25 to S$45, and will be available from Friday, 19 Feb on SISTIC.
