SINGAPORE – Heads up, Mandopop fans!

Come Nov 22, more than 30 artistes and musicians from the region will be in town for the Singapore Hit Awards (SHA) 2013. Confirmed attendees include Hong Kong’s Julian Cheung Chi Lam and Denise Ho; Taiwan’s Wilber Pan, Alien Huang, Chou Hui and Magic Power; China’s Hu Xia; Malaysia’s Penny Tai; and representing the Singapore contingent - Joi Chua, Olivia Ong, Derrick Hoh, Serene Koong, The Freshmen, MICapella, Bevlyn Khoo, Ruth Kueo and Xiaohan.

Pan has also been confirmed as the opening act for the awards show, where a total of 19 awards will be handed out.

“Wilber personally promised us that the opening act will be tailored to the awards night, a testimony to the importance he attaches to Singapore Hit Awards 2013,” said Cruz Teng, Chairman for Singapore Hit Awards 2013’s executive committee and assistant programme director of Y.E.S. 93.3FM.

Fans living abroad, don’t despair. SHA 2013 is set to reach out to radio and television audiences in more than 20 cities, including those in China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Holland, the United States of America and Canada.
