JAPANESE NIGHTS AT MONTI

For just a week, Monti Kitchen will be offering its popular classic Italian menu with a Japanese twist – by teaming up with The Chita Suntory Whisky. Dishes with a Japanese spin the four-course menu (from S$120++ per pax) include a starter of Oyster with Fine De Claire No. 2, Ikura, Lemon Vinaigrette and Olive Caviar; followed by Tagliolini, and a choice of either fish or meat; and end off with dessert. VLV RIVERSIDE TAKES ZI CHAR TO A NEW LEVEL

VLV Singapore introduces their newest dining concept, VLV Riverside, for a spread of local Zi Char, by Head Chef Martin Foo. Diners can enjoy comfort picks of roasted and stir-fried meats like Salted Egg Chicken (S$18), Crispy Bull Frog with Ginger(S$30), and Roasted Truffle London Duck(from S$24). Also on the menu: Curry Fish Head(S$32), Chinese Herb Hua Diao Prawn(S$9 per 100g), and Stir-Fried Sambal Prawn with Petai (S$29); along with the Singapore Signature Chili Crab (S$8 per 100g), and Chairman’s Crab (S$9 per 100g). MCDONALD’S SERVES UP NEW LIMITED-TIME LOCALLY-INSPIRED MENU

Counting down to National Day, McDonald’s is celebrating Singapore’s diverse local food heritage with its limited-time menu. Inspired by the iconic Malay dish is the Nasi Lemak Burger (S$5.95 a la carte; from S$7.80 Extra Value Meal), served between semolina buns with juicy chicken thigh patty coated with cornflakes crunch with aromatic coconut flavours, and a golden fried egg. Others items on offer are Criss Cut Fries (S$3.40), Bandung McFizz (from S$3), Chendol McFlurry (from S$3), and Coconut Pie (from S$1.20). Available after breakfast hours in all McDonald’s restaurants, Drive-Thru and via McDelivery, while stocks last.
