Cantonese porridge from Tion Shian Porridge Centre (265 New Bridge Road)

I love the porridge here. It serves good Cantonese-style porridge and everything – from the menu to the way orders are taken – still stays the same.

Yong tau fu from 109 Teochew Yong Tau Foo (Food Republic, Suntec City, 1 Raffles Boulevard)

I also find that Yong tau Fu is great as it is a really healthy dish for seniors. The vegetables in the dish are perfect for a healthy diet.

Tau hu goreng from Rubiah Malay Stall (887 Bukit Timah Road)

I love salads and think that the tau hu goring is a great form of a local salad. The sauce is pretty shiok too!
