Guinness is treating Singapore to 20,000 pints of its iconic stout
SINGAPORE — Already a popular celebration worldwide, St Patrick’s Day revellers in Singapore have something else to raise a glass to during Guinness’ week-long St Patrick’s Festival, which started on Wednesday. On top of a wide range of activities taking place island-wide — live music performances, food and drink specials, oyster-opening championships (at Muddy Murphy’s on March 15) and the St. Patrick’s Street Festival at Boat Quay complete with a street parade (until March 15) — Guinness will be treating Singapore to a pint. Or rather, a generous offering of 20,000 complimentary pints — which amounts to more than 11,000 litres — to fans of the bold brew, will be given away free over five days (until March 17).

Once logged into the app, customers aged 18 and above will see a prompter that allows them to click through to complete their pint redemption and view the list of island-wide outlets where they can pick up their complimentary Guinness.
