SINGAPORE — A festival is never really complete without variety entertainment. And that is true for Beerfest Asia 2016, which is running until Sunday.

It goes without saying that the selection of brews at the festival, now in its 8th year, will be plenty.

But with an eclectic range of other options designed to make festival goers have fun while knocking back a few, who says you need to spend the entire time just chugging it?

LIVE ACTS

Spanning over three marquees, Rock, Blues and Electronic, the line-up features international tribute bands, local musicians and DJs. Step into the past and sing along to tribute bands such as Slippery When Wet (Bon Jovi tribute), AbbaFab (Abba tribute), virtuoso piano playing Greg Andrew (Sir Elton John tribute) and Killer Queen (Queen tribute). Local acts include Chris & Diana, Sweatshop Jam and Cat Mountain Kings. Get ready to groove to all the good vibes!

GREAT GRUB

You will not go hungry at Beerfest Asia, with their extensive selection of gourmet food and beer-friendly snacks from Harry’s, Mr & Mrs Maxwell’s and Tiger’s Milk. Fill up in between drinks with Harry’s signature wings or Tiger’s Milk Peruvian Para Picars.

LAUGH OUT LOUD

Haven’t got your daily happy pill yet? For S$28, hop right into the Comedy Lounge to enjoy stand-up comedy from the likes of Canada’s Wes Zaharuk and Lars Callieou, as well as acts from Hong Kong and Bangkok.

PUB GAMES

Once you’ve had your fill, huddle up with your friends in the Games tent to enjoy various pub games the organisers have laid out for you. Start with a friendly match or get competitive with a game of darts and beer pong. For parents who want a little peace of mind, there’s also a Brew Kids Playard — a children’s recreational room with indoor bouncy castle and arts and crafts activities for the little ones on Sunday.
