SINGAPORE – Yet another Singapore fashion brand is taking the e-commerce route: Exhibit launched its online platform today (Sept 6), the company said in a statement.

At the online store (http://exhibitstore.co), customers can see the latest collections, find fashion inspirations and get exclusive previews, promotions and offers.

Founded in 2010, Exhibit was the brainchild of Yoyo Cao and Angie Chia, and first came into being as a fashion outlet at Far East Plaza. The idea was to create an unpretentious store, one that was simple and clean, with the intention of showcasing pieces from designers across Asia. Soon after, Cao and Chia decided to take the next step to provide a homegrown high fashion-inspired label.

It was a matter of time before the idea for the online store came about, said the pair. “The launch of the online store was a natural take,” they said, adding that they were already considering such a move a few years back, after they started getting “quite a bit of interest from all over the world”.

This online store will contain the same items as the physical store, with the company adding that there would be no minimum order and deliveries would take an estimated two to 12 days, depending on the location.

But while the online store will act as the international platform, the bricks-and-mortar establishment at Far East Plaza will continue operations as per usual. “Our physical store in Singapore will remain as the main face of the brand, as it also provides our local customers the preferred personal service and experience,” said the company.
