Covid-19 vaccination for children under 5, boosters for those aged 5-11 to begin Oct 25

Children aged six months through four years may get their Covid-19 vaccinations from Oct 25.
Although severe Covid-19 in young children is unlikely, their risk of hospitalisation is higher compared to older children, the Ministry of Health said.
Those aged between five and 11 may get their booster shots from the same date.
Five designated vaccination centres will open from Oct 25 to cater to both age groups.
Some polyclinics and Public Health Preparedness Clinics will also offer the vaccinations to children.
