The family of Nasiari Sunee, who was killed in the killer litter incident at Spottiswoode condo in 2019, still feels a strong sense of longing.

He died after being struck on the head by a wine bottle hurled from by Australian Andrew Gosling, who was jailed for five-and-a-half years for his actions.

For Nasiari's family, the sadness is felt more strongly during the fasting month of Ramadan, when they used to perform congregational prayers every night.

As they strive to move forward, the family members recall happy memories of a cheerful and well-liked man.

Nasiari's death was felt not just by his family but neighbours as well, as he was very friendly and knew practically every resident in the housing block in Jurong East where the family had lived since 1984.
