A 55-year-old man has been convicted of various charges relating to a "brutal, heinous attack" on a man

He suspected the man of having an affair with his niece, who was also attacked

Others involved in the roadside attack included his niece's estranged husband and his own son

The group attacked the pair after trapping their car in between two other vehicles

The offender is due to sentenced in October
