SINGAPORE — Nine people, including seven children, were taken to hospital after a minibus overturned along the Central Expressway (CTE) on Monday morning (Feb 7).
The police said in a statement on Monday that they were alerted to an accident at 8.12am involving an overturned minibus along CTE heading towards Seletar Expressway, near a slip road into Seletar West Link.
"Nine people, aged six to 60, were conscious when conveyed to the hospital," the police said, adding that investigations into the accident are ongoing.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said in a separate statement that it was alerted to the accident at 8.10am and that two people were taken to Sengkang General Hospital and seven others were taken to KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH).
TODAY understands that seven children were among those involved in the accident and that they were all taken to KKH, and has sought comment from both hospitals on the condition of those involved in the accident.
