SINGAPORE — Love animals and Pokémon Go? You will find plenty of both at the Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, River Safari, and Singapore Zoo from Sunday.
According to Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS), “eight Pokémon Gyms and 78 Pokéstops” can be found at the four attractions. The “gyms” and “Pokestops” refer to real-life locations where players can take on others or win virtual items.
To help visitors find the rare monsters, WRS has developed a map detailing locations of the Pokémon Gyms and Pokéstops in the four parks. The maps will be available on the park websites from Sunday (Aug 7).
It also said that it is looking to offer special Pokémon experiences in the four wildlife parks.
WRS, however, cautioned players to be mindful of safety when in the parks. It added in a statement on Saturday: “The lions, tigers, and even little primates do not like intruders. Do not enter any of the animal exhibits. You don’t want to be bait for any animals — Real or virtual.”
